I, too, have iron deficiency anemia. I thought my head was spinning due to not eting enough or maybe cuz of the appetite suppressants! It's always good to get blood tests once in a while :-)

Dear XOsamXO, I am not a doctor, just a person suffering from chronic pain myself. Before you mentioned the other health conditions (which I have no clue how they might factor in), I was wondering if you might have some trigger points. I have had great success with intramuscular stimulation and it is more available in the UK than in the US. Pete Egoscue, a physical therapist, writes books about exercises you can do for body alignment. I have to have chiropractic adjustments for my atlas. When my neck is out of place, my knee hurts. upcspine.com, site of a man in Australia, is a good place to learn about upper cervical adjustments. I still have pain, but the IMS treatments have helped me the most. I just can't afford them. Also cold laser stimulates healing in the tissues. The doctor from Canada who treated me for IMS and cold laser also suggested I try to find someone treating with far infrared. Boswellian is an herb supposed to work on inflammation. I am going to try that, never have (since I am getting over Bell's Palsy). I know what it's like to be given the anti-inflammatory drugs and they do nothing, when you need strong pain medicine. I was in extreme pain for over a year before a doctor finally broke down and prescribed Ultracet. Another good pain website is that of the American Pain Foundation. They post lots of articles on current research. In this country, for IMS, try www.istop.org. Spinalinjuryfoundation.com is another site which may be of some help. Sometimes you can learn new things to try in surprising places.
