About Me
I'm married to truly the better half of me. We just celebrated 21 year anv. He doesn't understand Fibro, but does what he can to help. I work for a great company and have for 18+ years. My boss knows about fibro and lets me do what I need to do for the pain issues. I hate calling in sick (when I'm in too much pain).. My baby (lol) is 20 and moving out :( into his own place with his best friend from grade school.

Hi, welcome to DS. I am so sorry you are in such misery tonight and hope you find relief. Try all of the "relaxation" types - hot baths, soothing music, sleeping-whatever helps. We do have different pains on different days- most unexplainable, unfortunately. I, myself, haven't tried to Lyrica because I have heard more negative about it, than positive. Of course, everyone is different. It's hard to think positive when you are in pain, but focusing on the pain sometimes, will only make it worse. Hope you feel better soon.

Close Fibromyalgia
had this wonderful body pain for years. Took several dr.s to finally give it a name. That didn't make it go away, just named it. Now on Lyrica and trying to cope. I'm married, 21 years in March and have a wonderful son, he is 20. They are very supportive, but I still have to do this alone - I feel.

- Cyclobenzaprine Not Working
- stopped working in a week or so
- Cymbalta Not Working
- didn't work
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- helps while it is on, but move away from heat and pain is back
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- been on it for several months. increased dose twice, now take 75mg in morning and 100mg at night. sometimes works some times doesn't. gained 10 lbs. in first 2 weeks
- Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
- helps with moods I guess
- Magnesium Working / Worked
- too soon to tell
