Well, I am finally done with the hard part, surgery is over. Actually the surgery was the easy part. Recovering has been the hard part. I had to stay 6 days in the hospital because my organs were "waking up slow". On top of that they had me on morphine for the first two days, which made me have severe shaking in my legs. I told them to take me off of it. Then they gave me some Norco, which makes me extremely sick, so you know what? I am just dealing with the pain on my own. Its been 2 1/2 weeks since the day, and I am still sore and now I have this pain on my lower right side and a major headache for the last two days, just cant wait to find out where thats going to go! I guess all in all, I am happy that I did the surgery, at least for now. I already have to go back to work a week from today, I can only hope that I am ready, and not pushing myself too soon. Time will tell. The scars will fade, but will the pain remain???? Who knows. All I can do is take it one day at a time.
