My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know how you feel. I put my best friend to rest last June. He had suffered for 8 months due to being misdiagnosed by my previous vet. The loss is horrible, but the guilt is by far the worse to get over. No matter how hard it is to understand, you did the right thing. It is so unfortunate that he bit your husband, but it could have been much worse. It could have been a small child. Please don't blame yourself. Toby is in a better place and I am sure is much loved. They are all waiting to meet with us again someday. Take care and know that others are thinking of you in your time of need.

I thought I was the only one! Yes, bad things seem to happen to good people ,so the saying goes. I guess that means we are SUPER SPECIAL then! That or just very sensitive people, probably like most of us would rather not admit, and just DON"T go around hating and "getting even" with the world, so we take the brunt of it all. We still notice when things are out-of-kilter, while others don't seem to notice or just don't care. I "hear ya" and get where you're coming from on this and while I can't do anything to fix it, you can rest assured you are not alone. Peace
