Pain and the Rain

I'm a SAHM with one son. I have multiple physical issues. I also suffer from depression and anxiety. I'm active in my son's Cub Scout group and the PTA. I try not to let my health get in the way of my life too often. I love photography, reading, music, movies, gardening (when I can), and painting.

Well, this is the first time I've done this, so bear with me. I thought about doing it yesterday, but my fibro was hurting every muscle in …
Hi Viki....Sorry it's taking me so long to get back to you. It's been a long few weeks. My meds are just not keeping up with the flare ups. I'm getting all the side effects, with no relief. My prayers are with you and your Husband that he finds another job. It's hard for them and you too. My Husband and I went through that about 14 years ago. His company went bankrupt and he was out of a job. He is a draftsman for a sign company, not too many places out there. Someone had gotten his name and sent it off the company he is at now. Thank God. I thought he was going to have a nervous breakdown. My new little kitty is growing very quickly. My kids sure knew I needed to have her in my life. She keeps me and my 10 year old Jack Russell on our toes. She just started smacking him on the rear as he walks by, and he does not like that. My daughter is 12 weeks away from becoming a Nurse. We are so excited for her. I will continue to keep you in my prayers, and I will tell the rain to stay away, so you feel better! Take care. LinV.
I am sending you a ray of sunshine, but it looks like we may not need it afterall. I am glad Tommy is doing okay. I have a doc's appt. here in about an hour. Gastro. Fun! No procedures as of yet...but today I will find out for sure. Take care of yourself! I may open the windows sometime this week. Hoping that the temps will reach 60 by the weekend. That would be perfect for Easter! Have a good day! Cat
Hope your reaching your bike riding goal. I'm trying to use my recumbunt bike. Hope everything else is setteling down for you. Take care Viki. LinV.
Hi Viki. Thanks for your kind words. You always seem to know the right things to say. I may need that cup of comfort sometime. I'll get back to you on that. But don't forget the cup or two for yourself! For now, I am trying to get over some kind of virus, bug, cold, allergies, or just plain old run down from all the craziness over Spring Break. We did have a nice time, but I just cannot keep up with everyone. I am one stubborn gal, so I did my best. As far as I know, no one was on to the fact that I felt like h-e-double hockey sticks. I did try. Now I am paying for it. I may contact my Rheumy and see if he will rx me an antibiotic. I developed pneumonia right after Christmas, now I think I have something bronchial again. I do have an appointment next week with my gastro doctor. Maybe he will order me something if my Rheumy won't. I really do not want to go in and see my PCP. I have a few procedures to have done within the next few months, two this month...so I really do not want to add more $$ to my existing balance with them. Life goes on. How are you doing with all the issues you have going on right now? I hope you are all hanging in there. It is scary and so frustrating. I will pray for you and your family. I hope Tommy is doing better with Peyton's passing. Love ya Viki. take care of yourself! Cathie
Hi Viki...Hope you and your family are doing o.k. Just thought you could use a bouquet of spring flowers. Take care. LinV.
I was dx when I was 20, but I think I've had it much longer. Just went on disability. Try to make the most of life even though it all hurts!
SAD hits me and my husband every year. I think my young son is developing it too.
Get anxious easily. Esp. in group situations or when trying to deal with extended family on both sides.
Have had this for many years. Officially dx when I was in college. Hard to get people to believe it's a med. condition and not laziness!
I have a 9 year old who acts like he's a teen sometimes!
