I am 57 years old, and was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 1995. My first symptom was a tremor in my left pinkie finger. I was a LPN and worked with adults with developmental disabilities. I loved my job. The thing I like to do the most is help others. I was forced to leave my job when we moved from NY to NC in 2005. I need to know if anyone else has had a problem with mirapex and requip causing compulsive gambling and what they have done to stop it. I can't go over 500 words so i stop.

Close Parkinson's Disease
I was diagnosed with PD in 1995. I have been taking requip and have developed a problem with obsessive behaviors like gambling and spending money. Anyone else have this happen?
Treatments
- Requip Not Working
- requip helps with the tremors and movement but causes obsessive compulsive behaviors.
- Selegiline Working / Worked
- helps with symptoms if tremors.
- Stalevo Working / Worked
- Has helped with symptoms and controls tremor.
