Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)

I was d'xd with IC in March of 2008. My uretrha burns always AFTER I pee and my bladder tends to ache more as the day goes on. I pretty much control my flares with diet and keeping stress under control. I fortunately have a good pain doc and have pain meds as needed.

Baking Soda Somewhat Helpful

use only for flares

Elmiron Not Working

Been using for a year see no difference.

Macrobid Working / Worked

Use only for UTIs. It works.

MSM Not Working

Tried rubbin the gel form on the outside of my uretha with no results.

Pyridium Working / Worked

use for flares or utis. Works but makes me very nauseous.
