I had over active T for 3 yrs + also got TED 2 Thats been the killer for me How awful I look Had TT on 28th July 09 and feel gr8 Eyes have gone down a bit + the pressures gone from behind em THANK GOD. Had apt to talk about eyelid surgery this week and I'm on waiting list (could be 2mths) but it's given me hope that I will get my confidence back and people will stop looking at me. Without the support of my partner and children I wouldn't of got thru this It's been awful But joining these sites has really helped too. Any advice I can give please just ask. Stay positive and patient and cry when you need to Love to All x x

Close Graves' Disease
I've got Graves and over active thyroid Had it for just over 2yrs Now want thyroid out and eyelid surgery Need to talk to people who had it done And has anyone had decompression surgery
Treatments
- Carbimazole Working / Worked
- levels reduced in Nov 08 and now my eyelids has reduced in swelling
