      For most of my life I have lived in a state of depression, since I have moved away for college i am happier with myself than ever before. Everyone in my family sort of suffers from depression and often times it is ignored and we suffer in silence.

      after my first major bout of depression when I was in 8th grade, I began listening to christain music, it helps me to feel closer to God, and I remeber to look towords him for help when times are tough.

      talking always helps, as long as everyone is willing to be open and honest

      last year I convinced myself that the only way things were going to be okay was if I killed myself. Needless to say, I have really great friends that made sure that I made it through. A week ago my younger sister attempted suicide, her and I have gone through alot of the same things in our lives.
