It's been awhile since I've logged on. Just been busy. Thought I better get back on here though because I had some strong urges today as I was leaving work ... thinking wouldn't it be nice if I could just go to the casino for a little while with just $20 bucks and play a nickel machine for an hour or so.
Oh, isn't that sad. I'm thinking what the hell? That's the kind of thinking that got me in this mess in the first place.
I fought it off though so that's good.
Hubby just put on a scary movie, The Knowing, I think I'm out though since it has kids in it. I don't like scary movies and especially when little kids have weird crap happen to them.
Well, I'm headed to do some laundry and clean up a little bit so I can swim tomorrow. It's supposed to be in the hundreds for the next few days.
I hope everyone else is doing good.

WTG on fighting that urge. It made me think of something my sister used to say when we all first started going to the casino with our $20...she would say "instead of going TO the casino let's just drive by and throw the $20 out the window and save some time"....lol....I love the heat - enjoy your swim!!

That's very good that you didn't go. I like Kay 1961 comment, just throw it out the window when you pass because it's throwing money away anyway.
