hugs to you diane how are you doing? julie
Diane, I have lots of joint pain. My left knee and hip are very bothersome. They just prescribe anti inflamatory(?) drugs with Tylenol for that. I also have pain in both hands(they also go numb at night)with pain in my left arm and shoulder. I thought it might be carpel tunnel syndrome but my Dr wants me to have a Nerve test? with a neuroligist. I have that done today. I am feeling a lot better but my Doctor says thyroid is still functioning a little. She has run Thyroid tests on me for 3 years and this is the first time it showed up. So I guess I am lucky in that they caught it early. I am 53 years old so I was thinking i was getting a little crazy from lack of the other hormones! I really do hope for you to start feeling better soon. Let me know how you are doing!
I agree with you! I love the sunshine and all the beautiful new blooms it has brought with it. I am doing okay. I'm just waiting for my appointment on the 30th with my GP to ask 1001 questions. I seem to be getting tired again and I really hate that. I haven't heard back from my second blood test on this past friday so I am assuming it's in the normal ranges. Also I have gained 4 pounds since starting the medicine. I am staying so hungry and I really don't like that! Is that normal? I want to thank you so much for asking to be my friend as I really don't feel like I can talk to anybody that doesn't know what this feels like. I really thought I was going crazy and that I was turning into a hypochondriac(?). Enough about me. What's going on with you? Are you doing okay? How long have you known you have thyroid problems? What were your symptoms and did you find out about it by accident like I did? I really do hope you are feeling better and I am looking forward to hearing from you. Carla
Hi Diane, I see that you are not feeling well today. I just wanted to thank you for your comments and to tell you that I am thinking about you and hope you feel better soon. Spring is here and there are signs of new life everywhere. I hope for that new life for you! Carla
Thanks Diane
