Close Fragile X Syndrome

My nephew was diagnosed with fragile x when he was 7, he is now 15. I too was diagnosed at 15, and am now 26. I am married and we do want children, but I'm afraid my husband is afraid to tell me he's scared to have children with me because of the fragile x. I want to go through with the genetic counseling, but am just afraid of hearing what I know I probably will. I know I am the carrier of it, so of course my child will be effected.
