early 50s male with severe pain that never goes away. Havent taken any of the below drugs for years. Unfortunately one illigitimate one works perfectly. but access is difficult.

Acupressure Somewhat Helpful

works during and for a short time afterwards. Then back to normal.

used to work throughout my life. now I have titanium rods and racks etc so I cannot

Flexeril Somewhat Helpful

not much, nothing outstanding. Given as an alt to mobic , soma, morphine to try to control dependence. I was always happy to go back to the regulars. meaning it was not as good.

Heat Somewhat Helpful

only temporary, while applied. It occupies the nearby nerves so as not to take precedence, in signalling 'pain', (resulting in swelling). and reduces any frictional joint pain, again only while heated. My pain is mostly too deep inside for it to reach. And I'm fit, no fat.

Hydrocodone Working / Worked

works, if accumulative. (after a few days), but leaves the rest of me useless. I'm tired and unable to do much for very long, even though now I should be physically able.

Lyrica Too Soon to Tell

was given a prescription but healthcare wouldn't cover it,(medicaid). I have no money or income, so never got to try it.

Marijuana Somewhat Helpful

does nothing for my pain. does relax my body and allow me to sleep.

Meditation Not Working

transcendental meditation, very difficult to achieve now, but no pain relief.

Methadone Working / Worked

temporary relief. less stomach nausea than morphine

Mobic Working / Worked

works after a few days and thereafter. but cannot keep subscription per hmo.

Morphine Working / Worked

works the best, and immediately would be best if combined with some sort of energizer. no pain, love everyone, but no drive to do anything. everything is sloooow. slight upset stomach.

Naproxen Somewhat Helpful

Aleve takes an accumulation, about 6 a day, but just mild relief, stomach irritant

Nerve Blocks Working / Worked

is really all I need but was denied due to I may injure myself without knowing it. I'd prefer that to being totally disabled and mentally distraught..frustrated....and consequently mean.

Neurontin Not Working

made me sick to my stomach, eyes fluttery, lights are too bright, vision blurred, attention span to almost 0. actually irritating. mentally and physically. It gives you a feeling, that you just want to end. (that feeling), so I can understand the suicides.

Oxycodone Working / Worked

works, but leaves the rest of me useless. I'm tired and unable to do much for very long, even though now, I should be physically able. I feel all over worn out, just want to lay down.

Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful

got me able to walk again, after surgery, did nothing for the constant pain. I still walk daily

TENS Working / Worked

works while applied, doesn't reduce swelling but temporarily stops it.
