    • About Me

Currently not working--I have one child (son)27. He is in the Navy and stationed at Lemoore Airforce Base in Calif. He is married and has a stepson. I am married (not to my son's father) to a wonderful man. It is just the two of us as he does not have any children of his own. We live in historical Williamsburg. My husband is an MRI tech. and works at the local hospital. I am very passionate about politics and campaigned and voted for Barrack Obama.

    • Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
      Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

I was diagnosed in July 2004. I had been working as a Physical Therapist at a hospital in Newport News(about a 20 min drive). You would think I would have known I had MS but my symptoms were so vague and so like so many other symptoms of other diseases, I did't have a clue. My cognitive deficits were so great I actually thought I had Alziemer's and was relieved to find out it was "only" MS. My husband was the one who diagnosed me on Fri.July 23 2004 when he took me to his work and did an MRI.
