Generally before his illness Buzzy and I spent the majority of our time in the summer months camping on the Meramec river in Missouri, we love the outdoors , canoeing, campfires, barbecuing , just anything that gets us away from the city.My hope is that he will be well enough for us to get out to do these things this summer, nothing makes us feel happier or more free!

Did as much research as possible about the disease and learned about the diabetic diet so that when he gets home I can be a better caretaker for him.

I am here on behalf of Buzzy he was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma on Thursday of last week. He will go in on Monday to begin the flushing process and will have surgery on Wednesday to remove the left kidney. Due to the size and location of the tumor he will have the incision on the front of his abdomen. The doctor said the incision will be about 10 inches. I am very frightened and want to know what to expect as i will be his only caregiver after the surgery.
