My husband was diagnosed with bipolar in the fall of 2008. We are currently going through our very first cycle of IVF. I started my first round of shots on 8/19 and hopefully will have my retrieval and transfer sometime the week of Sept 7th.

Sounds good. Have you had any stomach cramps? I have them on and off sometimes. I am also having heartburn which I had before being pregnant. Otherwise, pretty much okay. Not really as tired anymore either. Do you know when the next ultra sound is?

Congrats! I am in the same exact situation!! I had my first ultra sound on Monday and I will be seven weeks tomorrow. I saw the heartbeat and my husband and I felt relieved! WE also put back 2, and my parents wanted twins!!! My due date is 6/5/09. I am scheduled to see my obgyn 10/26, I hope to have another uttra sound or at least hear the heartbeat vs. just seeing it. I do not have any morning sickness either. Sore breasts and a bit tired. Are you still taking PIO? My dr. said I can change from the shot to a vaginal supp. We are probably right on the same schedule!!! Keep in touch
There are plenty of people that are in your situation I am sure. Just do what the doctor says, that all you can do. Congrats on the pregnancy! What was your beta the first and second time?
My husband was diagnosed with Bipolar II in fall of 2008. We are currently trying to find the right combo of medications. Right now (4/2009) he is off work for the send time since diagnosis. Will probably go back after 3-4 weeks off.
We have been TTC since 9/2006. I have done ovulation predictor kits and timed intercourse.
We have been TTC since 9/2006. I have done ovulation predictor kits and timed intercourse. We found out in 7/2008 that my husband has low sperm count. We were going to do IVF, but our doctor wanted us to try Clomid to raise his sperm count. We just got the Rx for it yesterday (3/25/09)
My husband was diagnosed with bipolar in 10/2008. He was started out on Lithium and it was working great. However, he has started to retain water with it so his doctor has started Lamictal. He has just decreased his Lithium and the Lamictal is still working its way into his system.
Just found out I was pregnant after my first IVF cycle. Due date is 6/4/2010
