I am so sorry you are going thru this, and I am praying that you get some relief from your pain. I hope that you can find a way to get some sleep, I know how important it is, and how it affects a person's pain level.

Hey Kammy, thank you so much for your words. I appreciate you and this group so much. I am sorry you hurt too but it does help to know that we aren't the only ones hurting or I should say we aren't suffering alone. But I do hope you know I pray everynight for this group and my little 4 year old Cassidy has started too also which is so sweet because she has heard me say prayers. Well, she says "help the people in pain". But today I was referred to an anethesiologist who is going to help me manage my pain so I will report back right away how that goes. I did try lyrica before but I may try it again (before it gave me headaches). I don't like all of the meds I am on now & my neurologist (he is a TN specialist off of the TNA website) recommended the Fentynal patch even though it has been recalled or methadone. So if I were you I wouldn't stand for all of the pain you are in either. I will let you know how things go on thurs and maybe this might be a route for you? It is a pain management doctor. Close Trigeminal Neuralgia
I was recently diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. After being in severe pain the Lyrica the doctor prescribed finally kicked in. I still have some pain and am trying to understand this disease.
Treatments
- Lyrica Somewhat Helpful
- The Lyrica is making me dizzy and tired but it is taking away most of the stabbing pain. Just left with occassional stabbing pain and soreness in the left side of my face.
