Close Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I devote approx 8 hrs to sleep but never wake up refreshed. Very hard to concentrate & have a terrible memory-it's embarrassing. Typically get strep approx 3 times/yr. I feel weak even though I exercise and I have MISERABLE upper back pain, joint soreness in knees/ankles, muscle pain in my lower back. I have MANY food allergies (always had outdoor) who knows why! Sleep study results showed I didn't reach stages 3 & 4=no REM for me. It's been about 2 years w/ no answers and its discouraging.
Treatments
- Massage Somewhat Helpful
- Provided temporary relief for the back pain but within days it all returned.
- Melatonin Too Soon to Tell
- Dont really know. Maybe its the placebo effect?? Trying to stay as natural as possible but not producing a noticeable difference.
- Rozerem Somewhat Helpful
- 8mg. I think it helped a little but again maybe I was just hoping. I have not taken it in a year
Close Food Allergies
Type of allergy: Other FoodsThis came out of NO WHERE. No one in my family has ANY allergies, and I have environmental and now food allergies!! I know it is connected to my sleep problems and probably also creates a lot of internal stress. Cannot eat Soy, Dairy or Malt. Soy is the most difficult to avoid. Any suggestions, yummy recipes, please share!!
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- Soy is in SO many things. Eating out is miserable because I feel like a pain. Dairy has many substitutes so that is a little easier.
Open TMJ
Treatments
- Mouthguard Working / Worked
- Have switched to just bite guard, but it's a little flimsy
Open Environmental Allergies
Type of allergy: OtherEver since I was little I've had outdoor and indoor allergies, and they've grown and gotten progressively worse over the years. To alleviate sleep issues, I had my adenoids removed, turbinates scraped & septum corrected a few years ago but unfortunately have noticed no difference since the surgery :( still can hardly breathe out of my nose on most days.
