Close High Cholesterol
a few months back I had my Cholesterol checked and the overall was 270. I tried diet and excersize and it dropped to 261 and that was still too high, so now I am on Zocor and I am eating healthy and still excersizing which is good.
Treatments
- Zocor Too Soon to Tell
- I have only been on it for a week, so it is too soon to tell.
- Fish Oil Too Soon to Tell
- I just started taking Fish Oil about a week ago and it is too soon to tell how it will work. the nurse suggested it, so I know it will lower it. :)
- Zocor Not Working
- I was only on Zocor for a week and I noticed that I was having bad muscle aches in the legs and am now off of it. I go back to my doctor May 31st to see about the bloodwork that I had done and will take it from there.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Too Soon to Tell
- I have tried many meds to lower my cholesterol, I have been on Zocor, cholestrymine powder and now I am on Pravachol 20mg. Zocor gave me bad muscle aches and being on cholestrymine made me nausea, so that is why I am now on Pravachol. I am on a low fat/ Cholesterol diet and that is working. I also walk a mile as well 3 times a week.

Type: Limb-girdle MDmy boyfriend Bruce of 7 years has this disease and his form is called limb gurdle, he is always in a wheelchair and I myself have use of one arm due to child abuse when I was a year old. I help him get dressed, on and off the toilet and haardly have "me" time. I just don't know how long I will be able to do this. any insight would be helpful.

when I was 20 something in 1990 I was molested and was forced to have sex. it was my mom's boyfriend at the time and he touched areas of me that were not comfortable to me, he caressed me and made me feel him down there. I was in such shock that I just laid there and did nothing, he told me not to tell my mother as well, the next day however I did tell my mom and my friend had me stay with a friend until my mom kicked him out the next day. I still have issues.
