I am a Mom of three beautiful boys. Life has not been the same since Dec.2008 (Thank God) my neighbor found me in a Grand-mal seizure and then they just kept coming...We don't know why, but I have to learn to live w/them, this I am learning to accept!!

I love to golf and read and camp in the backyard w/my boys. The golf is on hold, due to my arthiritis and the readind is on hold due to my memory, but I still love them!!

thanx for the "applaud", frankly I'm just getting used to this life. Believe me EVERYTIME I still have a blackout, I get pissed off or get even more stressed out cuz I'm always asking myself "why" r they happening?? My husband is the one that keeps me going, I know I should be on here more often & I'm willing to TRY harder... my twins keep me insanely busy! lol Hope ur doing ok! :))

Close Epilepsy & Seizures
They never told me I had a seizure during one of my hospital stays for another illness. Nine months later My neighbor finds me in Grand mal seizures, they tell me I had them all day and at the hospital. I have no memory of days before or after? Learning to live w/this has been difficult for my children and myself.
Treatments
- Dilantin Not Working
- Had seizure on medication, currently being weined off this.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- Still having episodes of stroke like symptoms which Dr. thinks is an auro to migraine.he said that I am on to much antiseizure med. to have any type seizure? side effects sleep all day confusion irritable weak drymouth memory problems, I cannot seem to find my words and this is very embarrassing!!!
