I am right there with you. I have had to admit my son to a psychiatric facility on 2 occasions and it is very difficult. I am sending my son off to Teen Challenge in Colorado very soon and even though I rejoice that he will be getting the help he needs I am also angry at myself, feel like I failed him and second guessing my decision to make him go. I will be praying for both you and your son. Just as a side not my son hated the psychiatric hospital and wanted to get well to get out so perhaps this will be a changing circumstance for your son also. You are the voice for your child when he cannot speak rationally for himself. You are doing what you need to do to help you son from harming himself or anybody else. Blessings Sue
You know I strongly believe in the saying that "God doesn't give you more than you can handle" but sometimes I still wish God would give me a break. I am with you, we are our children's strongest advocates and supporters. Happy Easter.

I'm just entering the "I need help" phase. I've always needed help with my children, but I thought prayer could do it all. Now Society is pinning them as "non conformist" and it is becoming increasingly difficult to function. I love my children.
