Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder in 1994, but I think I was like this all my life. I has caused me considerable heartache. I am now learning to control my symptoms without medication but it's a struggle sometimes but I just can't take the side effects of most medications.
Treatments
- Abilify Not Working
- This drug did absolutely nothing for me.
- Depakote Not Working
- This drug caused me to have terrible nightmares after 4 months of taking it.
- Geodon Not Working
- This drug gave me a rapid heartbeat. This scared me so I stopped taking it.
- Lamictal Not Working
- Did nothing for me.
- Lithium Not Working
- Very bad for the liver. I gave up on this drug also.
- Risperdal Not Working
- Locked up my jaw.
- Seroquel Not Working
- Stiffened up all my joints. I was given Cogenten to counteract the side effects but I decided not to take this anymore.
- Zyprexa Not Working
- Made me gain a ton of weight.
Close Female Sexual Issues
I don't know what to say. I have some issues that this group could probably help with.
Open Healthy Sex
Decided to give this support group a try.
