I am a mother of two wonderful boys ages 12 and 9. I have been married for 17 years to the best man ever!I am currently attendinf college to get my degree in Specail Education. Working with children is my calling. I am not in it for the perks but because i want to help make a difference in a child's life.

Close Parents of Children with ADHD
My older son is considered a gifted child. My younger son has been diagnosed with ADHD last year. We, in the beginging dealt with his issues as a phase he was going through. It was untill he was having problems in his academics that we finally conceeded that we need to contacthis doctor. We did nit want him on medication. After long heart to heart with the doctor we dicided that medication was the best route. He is now on Vyvanse. Now we are dealing with other issues and seek outside opinion.
