Color has a profound affect Psychologically on our mood and perception. This has been used extensively in consumerism and marketing/packaging, and even office and medical facilities have employed color to create a sense of well-being. This is not just theoretical, rather empirical evidence. For instance, if one suffers from extreme anxiety, a totally red environment may be hostile to your groove. What I am suggesting here is; whether depression/anxiety or everything inbetween--contemplate repainting your abode in colors that make you feel great! It really gives one a fresh-start in an old environment. Try it, you may like it!
Peace!

Congrats Rob! I'm taking your advice and picking up an old one.

My other hobby is an on-going project of restoring a 88 Saab 900-not a moneypit, just doing things the previous owner neglected, and once I redo the headliner, I can place all my black and white cow-patterned seat covers on ;-)
