My prayers are with you. I have a 3 yr old great grandson with WS. He lost his sight about a yr ago due to a calcium problem. Aren't these children the sweetest? Best to you.

Ooops, sorry, I meant: "good luck getting Jack walking." FYI-- I have written some journal entries recounting the years when Annie was young. You may want to look at my page and read them--I was trying to say things that might help other moms. Please let me know how Jack is doing. Its so hard, but so rewarding, to raise a special needs child. It takes the whole family. Again, best wishes!

Good luck with getting Evan walking! Is he close? My Annie was two months short of her 4th birthday when she took her first independent steps. I caught myself sighing in relief for months afterward. It was years and years before she had enough endurance to keep up, but I still remember the date it happened. My only advice is that you should do your best to stay in shape, lifting weights, etc. The physical burden is pretty trying, and it has left me with shoulder and hand problems. Best wishes to you and your family!
