I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma (stage 4) in November 2005, 6 weeks after my hysterectomy to remove uterine cancer. No, it was not uterine cancer metastasized. I underwent chemo for 9 months, and surgery removed what remained of the tumor (along with my right kidney) in September 2006. I am having all kinds of difficulty dealing with issues surrounding the cancer and survivorship, fear, etc.
My youngest son (20) has just recently returned from Iraq. Although he is 3000 miles away, just from what he tells me and what I saw when he came home on leave, he has changed dramatically since enlisting and being deployed.
I'm 45 and had a hysterectomy last year. Now, I have very little interest in sex and a problem with dryness, too.
I am 45 year old woman. I currently weigh 310. My high weight was 381 (that I knew of). I lost 100 pounds. I had cancer and received chemo. Now it seems like I can't lose weight at all and if I splurge even just a little, I gain weight. I've gained 40 pounds since finishing chemo in October.
