Close Myelodysplasia

I recently got diagnosed with myelodysplasia. I have had pernecious anemia . But that is not the same as the anemia for myelodysplasia they say. I have had 4 blood tranfusions in 4 months, 2 each time,,so 8 all togther. I also have a breast mass that I just had a 4D MRI done today. I am also in remission of RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) myelodysplasia on March 3rd. I am on Folic acid right now. I run a support group for RSD and know how important they can be,,,good to be here! Lori

Blood Transfusion Somewhat Helpful

My veins blow really easy,,had an MRI today with contrast and they stuck me 8 times and then finally had to do an ultrasound to find a suitable vein,,I was there for 6 hours for a 25 minute test,,have to have pic line put in for blood transfusions
