About Me
I am a 38 year old woman from Ohio who is now 1 Year + post op from my Roux En Y Gastric Bypass Surgery. I had my surgery on Sept 18, 2008. I started my journey in Sept at 304.4 lbs. So far I have lost 157 lbs and I am so extremely happy that I made the decision to change my life and improve my health. It is the best decision I have made in my life by a mile! I am looking for a support line to get information and continue learning about what is right and what is wrong.

Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
I first started the process for my GBS in Jan 2008. I went thru the normal steps with my GP DR and my surgeon and lovely insurance. It took 9 months but I finally got my approval at the beginning of Sept and my surgery was on Sept 18, 2008. It was the best decision of my life. It is my chance to be healthy for the first time in my life!
