I grew up in Illinois with an abusive alcoholic step-father. My childhood wasn't the best it could have been but I did make it though. At age 18 I moved out of my childhood home into my own house in Illinois until about age 25 when I moved to Missouri. Since I've been in Missouri I have been doing quite well. I do miss my family however as they still live in Illinois. I was also recently informed that my step-father had passed away due to alcoholism a few months ago. Even though we didn't have the best relationship this was tragic news to me.

When I turned 18 and went for a psychical for a job I was considering. I was informed I had diabetes. Since then I been on medicines and struggling with various other issues.
I was assaulted at age 5 but don't remember much of it. Over time I blacked out a lot of it and only remember bits and pieces.
I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea about 2 years ago. I have been using a cpap machine ever sine then.
