You should go to Keene for the pumpkin festival. It's a huge event held downtown in the fall. Parades, great food and of course, billions of pumpkins! I went with Mom and my husband and had a blast:)

Close Parenting Big Kids (5-8)
I have a 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 year old and we are 3/4 of the way through our first half day kindergarten year. Next fall our boy will go to kindergarten 1/2 day and our daughter will be in the first grade. So far the only blip in the transition is that my daughter has been diagnosed with ADHD and is taking some meds, has a behavioral plan and we have changed our discipline plan at home. There is a whole lot less spanking and yelling now that we understand how she fuctions.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI started with post partum depression, but it lasted long after my daughter and then my son were born in 2000 and 2002 respectively. I have tried to get off the meds, but the change is so dramatic.
Treatments
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Wonderful treatment, immediate results, but improves over 6-8 weeks. No side effects.
Open Aneurysms
A scary experience - headache and nausea at work resulted in a transport to the hospital. They discovered a 5mm aneurysm that had ruptured. I was flown to another hospital where it was clipped and I stayed 10 days. I am home and recouping now.
Treatments
- Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
- I am told it has worked, no side effects, I feel really lucky.

- Elliptical Trainer Somewhat Helpful
- If I can get to it regularly it really works for me.
