Close Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
Newly diagnosed with PKD. I had cysts removed from my liver and kidneys six years ago by a general surgeon. Started having the same pains so I eventually was sent to a nephrologist. Was told I have cysts on kidneys, liver, and colon. Kidneys are functioning at 58%. The diagnosis took me totally by surprise. No relatives to discuss this with since they all died at early age. Don't know if any of them had PKD.
