i was involved in a motorcycle accident i severed my main artery and it was touch and go with weather i would loose my leg through about 9 surgeries while in the hospital, well they saved it but i really don't have aolot of use out of it.i can not stand on it for longer than 1/2 hour at a time, can't bend my knee very well and that wont get any better. i went from an active person to one who sits on a chair most of the day with my leg elevated. so now i am thinking amputation.????

Type: Post Partum Depressioni was involved in motorcycle accident june2008, and it has really messed up my left leg, it will never be the same and i was depressed before that but this made it worse, i have been depressed as long as i can remember.

- Lexapro Working / Worked
- made me have really wierd dreams and i like to drink i know you are not suppose to with any meds. but would make me blackout to where i don't remember. my husband would tell me i stepped through a porthole.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- didn't work either.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- just started this one plus i am on an anxiety med. and one to help me sleep.
Open Brain / CNS Tumors
Type: Medulloblastomamy daughter was 9 in 2002 when she was dx with medulloblastoma. it is suppose to be more common in boys than in girls, mine just happend to be one of them. They are not kidding when they tell you, you and your family's life will change forever. she had her last MRI this past dec. everything good. Thank God. but i always have that fear that it will show up somewhere else. i never want to go through that again. It was the worse nightmare i have ever had.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- she did pretty well with her treatment as long as we gave her zofran an hour before she ate. she could eat a little, she craved mini peanutbutter cups.
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- they had to put her almost asleep for her 31 doses, so she would not move, even a mm would be dangerous, so they told us.
- Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
- after her surgery, she was in a mutism state for about 5 months, and we had no idea how to deal with that it was horriable.
