Today is day number 3 without a cigarette. It has been the toughest so far. The psychological trauma is extensive. I just want to crawl back into bed and hide from the world until the cravings go away. Then I have to remember how it feels to be smoke free. I have been here before and not too long ago. I know the smell of freedom. I just have to make it a while longer.

Hey! I did it many years ago. It seemed to go in 3's for me. The first 3 days were the hardest. The at 3 weeks I noticed that I was feeling much better. Ans so on...Good Luck! It's about the best thing you can do for your health. Also, whenever I craved a cigarette,, I did something physically active till the craving went way. It worked pretty well.
