Play the bass, have played many other instruments, enjoy music, listening or playing, enjoy the outdoors, cooking, do not remember not having a dog, enjoy karate and staying fit. Have spent a lot of time reading in the past 3-4 years. Looks like I will get to start a North American motorbike tour in the spring..

Close Breakups & Divorce
In August 08 my wife of 20 years decided to separate and seek divorce. We have 2 teenagers that still live at home. I decided to to become humble in the process and accept the dismantling pace of my spouse. It has been difficult to do nothing and just watch her pull out. She moved out of the house February 1 Reconcilitation is not an option. I am learning to support her through tough love. February 20 is a great day!
Treatments
- Forgiveness Somewhat Helpful
- I have no real list on spouse. It allows me to remove most anger in the situation and remain sane.
- Leave Working / Worked
- When I travel it is easy to leave the stress behind and even conjur up fond thoughts. Usually shot down with in hours of arriving home.

- Struggle with this, tough love is more applicable to this experience.
- Music Somewhat Helpful
- I play and enjoy the freedom to express myself through music.
- Pets Somewhat Helpful
- Having the dog around does offer distractions from an empty home. These distractions are good.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Enjoy these sessions, and enjoy the opportunity to look in, from the mirror that is often held up. Some great insight and practical tools.
- Reading Working / Worked
- Have read many books, but too much often makes decisions harder and can make the situation too intellectual.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- Everyone seems so afraid of separated people, many withdrawl because they don't know what to do to support us.
- Talking Working / Worked
- My spouse would accuse me of way too much of this, but it helps me to explore and understand.
- Time Somewhat Helpful
- Time seems more like an enemy than a friend. I expect that changes with a year or so behind you.
