Stay at home mom of 3, (21, 13, 8). My husband & I have been married for 25 years. His parents who have been divorced for 19 years (?) live with us. Very stressful to say the least on some days.

I have been trying to drink other things than Dr. Pepper. I drink the sparkling flavored waters at Walmart.…
Thanks for your hug and support. I had stopped except for an occasiional Dr Pepper until....I am happy to report that I am at this moment Dr. Pepper free since October 9 when I had to have two cysts in my breast drained with a needle and no numbing. They noticed prominent lymph nodes on my mammogram and ultrasound and sent me to a surgeon. I spent a week contemplating losing my breast. That was enough to get me to stop cold turkey...Dr. Pepper, sweet tea, and chocolate. It has been hard. I have been finding substitutes. Thanks for your suggestion. I am not saying that I will never have anything with caffeine again, but I have fibrocystic in my breasts, and the caffeine makes them grow. I was okay with it until I realized that some people miss real lumps because they think it is the fibrocysts. I hope you don't have to go through anything as dramatic to find a way to give them up for good. At one time I drank 4 to 6 cans per day. If I can do it, you can do it. Good luck, and let me know how it is going. I have learned that you can drink water with anything. I also drink a lot of milk now too.
Good luck on giving up Dr. Pepper. I am trying to do the same but still cheat occasionally. Please send pointers. Thanks.
