It's funny to me how since I quit gambling I don't feel like I have to come here anymore. I mean, I know that's not true, but I think of you guys as my 'support team' for 'problem gambling' and since I'm not doing that I can't figure out how to transition you all into my everyday life!
Life is good and going forward.
I've been really busy. Geez, I'm also neglecting my PERSONAL journal and my friends on my other social site, too, so don't feel bad. I've been working with one group to re-establish their 501(c)(3) and start a new theater company. Also working as Production Assistant on a play that will be produced in late September. And, I'm still wandering around to the occasional open mic trying to give my friend's comedy career a boost.
Just got back from Laguna Beach where I had a BLAST; fell at work and suffered through weeks of a painfully hurt ankle, doctor's visits and therapy; and I'm on my way to Cedar City, Utah next week to see the Utah Shakespearean Festival.
So, time marches on, the fun never stops, and I don't gamble anymore. I thank you all for that.
But I do owe everybody a picture of me in my DS tee-shirt, so before I completely disappear I'll be sure to post one.
Peace, love, and many blessings

Hi Lavender, my daughter went to many Utah Shakespearean Festivals, Cedar City is just so beautiful, I wouldn't mind living there. I'd love to see a pic of you in your DS tee-shirt, I'll be sad when you disappear, do you have to? I'm so happy you found your place in the non gamblers world, I don't gambler anymore, it's as simple as that. I'm so grateful I have found this peace of mind in my life. I've told you before I love Laguna Beach, I lived in Dana Point for several yrs, and look back on that time as being almost perfect, as far as a place to lives goes. Have a great weekend :) Love, Robin

I'm glad you are doing well with not gambling...and staying quite busy is good as well. Just be careful when you do have down time....not criticising, just speaking from my own experience. The Shakespeare festival sounds good....if you ever come to the one in Ashland, Oregon let me know. I life just a few miles from it. And I would love to see a pic of you in your DS tee. You know in the theater when they say 'break a leg" they don't mean it literally. Hope your ankle is healing and you are dancing again. Have a great weekend.
