I am 43 and was recently told the stiffness in my back, tingle in my left arm and the shuffling walk was Parkinson's disease. I have been reading the wonderful, supportive things that have been written to those with PD. I have some great news I wanted to share. My medication regime has been figured out and I feel 100% better. I feel normal again. AND I have just returned back to work this week and I am doing GREAT. I hope it lasts for many years to come. I refuse to live in fear of the future, but I am realistic as to the way this disease works. I get scared sometimes because I am young and my future is uncertain. However, I am a fighter and will not let PD beat me down. Do the things that make you happy and remember we all in this together!

Live in the moment! I also am to young for pd, and l am a fighter, since l have learned to accept it, my symptoms are lesser, im sure. Stress and worry make pd worse.
Cheers for Obama who just overturned Bush's policy on no stem cell research
Sit tight and we will see the cure
