So far, redirecting my energy has been a challenge.
BUT today I made progress.
I have been going to the gym on Tues/Thurs only with my friend Jan. She is just maintaining her current weight so this is all she does. She walks on treadmill for 20 min and then we bike for 15 min and then we do a very select few of the weights and go home.
I knew, that this would get me STARTED, but that I really needed to break out and get busy if I want to see this 30 pounds leave my hind end.
SO I am so proud of myself today because I did it.
I woke up, I ate a healthy breakfast, I drove to the gym ALONE.
I did 35 min on the eliptical (almost died) and 25 min on the bike. This is just the first step, but I know that I am stepping in the right direction. I am really hoping that husband and I will take the dogs hiking tomorrow at the state park for a couple of hours and that will be so great. We will see how the weather holds.
I actually feel happy today which is a new feeling for me after the failed IVF. It's going to be okay.

That is great. Glad you are starting to fell a little more like yourself. It takes time. I love the gym & find that it really helps me feel better.
