hi, how are you going ?
i just read your post again on the varicose vein group. and saw that you typed that it gets worse at period. im wondering if you have had a venography done of your pelvis ? as those with pelvic varicosities it tries to find new venous pathway such as our legs. my legs are affected from mine. they can fix the pelvic ones and the legs return ot normal.

Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
I have had a varicosed vein inlf leg for 12 yrs. w/ recuring thrombo-phlebitis. Jan 10 DVT w/ PE in both lungs. Now on warfarin.
Treatments
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- Been on it 27 days. Its been a challenge to stay w/in therapeutic range. Changing Dr soon too becuase it has taken this long to get in w/ the one recommnded by hospital. The apparent side effects for me are sudden weakness with lightheadedness.
- Lovenox Working / Worked
- Injections 2/day for total of 14 days. I did my own at home after release fr hospital. It must have worked.
Open Varicose Veins
I havehad varicosed vens in my left leg for 12 yrs. I recentlt had a DVT/PE.
