These are words in red, meaning Jesus spoke these words to a little girl who moments before lay sleeping in death. Jesus had told her father when given the report that the little girl was dead, "Do not be afraid; only believe." Many times throughout the Bible, angels and Jesus, and God the Father said DO NOT BE AFRAID - knowing that we would have frightful times ahead of us, they only meant that we should trust in their love for us - their guidance and care for us - so that we would not let fear control us - paralyze us. With God on our side we shouldn't be afraid of anything life sends our way - even death - because we know His love for us and He holds us in the palm of His hand. When I was 4 I was sexually molested by a family member, and others later on, so sometimes this little girl inside me feels dead and my creativity and imagination sleep with her. Yet with a word from the Master, she can be revived and restored and the little girl can arise from the dead and inspire me to love more, play more, laugh more and live more. At least that is my hope. Thus the name Talitha cumi.

I love to read - Christian books and most of all the Bible. I enjoy learning all I can about my relationship with God the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace to you. I enjoy encouraging people when I can and supporting those who feel weak inside. We all do occasionally, don't we? Christ said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." I believe we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. I also like art and dabbling in painting and drawing, poetry, and writing.
