About Me
I am a 35 year old mother of a 9 year old daughter and I am pregnant with my second daughter. She may or may not have Down. I thought I wanted to know for sure w/an amnio but after considering the risk & the fact that it makes no difference, I am not going to have the procedure. I can bare not knowing but cannot bare loosing her with the realization that I could have prevented it had I waited.

Interests
I love my marine aquarium and I love seahorses. I enjoy gardening and hope to one day have an organic strawberry patch. I live on 3 acres in the country and hope by the time I'm 60 it is completely landscaped so I never have to mow. What I am best at is being a mother. My daughter is proof positive of that and we are so happy to be getting a new baby in June.

My pregnancy was the same way: may or may not have Down's. I had 2 markers on ultrasound. I know it's scary. I too chose not to do the amnio for the same reasons, but my baby was born perfect. If you need to talk to someone, I'm here!
