Close Graves' Disease
I am 55. Was diagnosed with hypo at the age of 36. Took synthroid 75mcgs until 2002 when diagnosed with Graves disease. Took PTU for 2 years(never felt good). Took RAI Feb. 2004.. Hypo now. All those years on synthroid they only checked TSH. So, thats why I never felt good all those years.
Treatments
- PTU Somewhat Helpful
- It was hard finding the right dose.
- Radioactive Iodine Working / Worked
- Yes this worked but it has been difficult as being on PTU. Now hard finding the right dose of thyroid replacement.
