I have 4 grown sons, 12 grandchildren. Been an empty nester since "02" If it was not for God & a sense of humor I would be a very sad soul with my RA!! Don't get me wrong I do have my bad days, but I count my blessings when I feel that dark cloud coming!

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have chronic rheumatoid arthritis. Was diagnosed in "95"...but believe that I had since I was a lil girl( cause of pain. Had neck surgery 1 &1/2 yrs ago. Got 4 screws in neck. Guess what I am still here thru the Grace of God!!
Treatments
- Celebrex Working / Worked
- it had worked,but my dr took me off of it.
- Enbrel Not Working
- it had very bad side effects & I was taken off!!
- Folic Acid Too Soon to Tell
- I have to take it because I am on methotrexate.
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- it must be working....cause if I forgetto take it I dan tell.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- don't know what I would do without it! I take it everyday. THE MIRACLE DRUG!!
- Relafen Working / Worked
- I take it everyday. no side effects as far as I know.
- Tylenol Working / Worked
- I take it only when necessary....cause I am on tramadol for pain. I alternate now & then.
Close Phobia
scared of flying,escalators,steep stairs heights, cars going too fast!
Treatments
- Acceptance Working / Worked
- I have never tried to fly. with steep stairs I take my time. with escalators, if there is an elevator around I'll pick the elevator. Any car going over 50 scares me...I usually work a crossword puzzle to take my mind off of the speed.
