I am a 26 yr. old male from Youngstown Ohio. I reside in one of the local suburbs after a year stint on the southside of the city which was a interesting experience to say the least. I am currently trying to finish up a bachelors degree at the local university and doing some vocational job training. I am a veteran of the Army National Guard. I just ets'd this past summer. I have had some problems in the past with drinking and I gave the 12 step program an honest try but no longer think it is a productive way to do anything except compulsively attend meetings and have people tell you "your thinking is screwed up and your stupid"...mind you a great majority have a 3rd grade education..so thats interesting. Ultimatley I am working at getting back on my feet and potentially will learn to drink moderatley again at some point. I am happy today because I am no longer dependent on "dogmatic" beliefs found in the "rooms" and have a mind of my own, and the free will that comes with it.

Working Out. Literature. Huge Movie Buff, Football..loved playing it in HS. and College, love watching it. Watching other sports and interesting shows on discovery and history channel. Church. Good friends, Good times. FOOOOD :)

Whatever I have enjoyed in my life I have always been all in. This includes a fascination with dinosaurs at a your age, reese cups..which I gave up because of the chubby side effect, exercise and lifting, playing football, Drinking/partying, women....and it manifests itself everyday with washing my hands a good 20 times, and obsessing over uncontrolable life events...aka ..disease, senses of impending doom... learning to live in moderation.
Treatments
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- took it as an anti-depressant for a period of time. Noticed some difference.
Close Hypochondria
I wash my hands 20 times a day, and I have fear of diseases, ones you can contract, and ones that occur naturally...cancer. etc. etc. It affects normal areas of life such as relationships, going certain places... etc. etc.
