I'm hanging on
Oh well this is my first journal entry. I'm not much of a sharer, but I like to give "updates" to others. I think like …
I'm disabled and have various diseases connected to the Lupus that I have. My hubby and I live alone, kids are grown and gone and we have two beautiful grand-daughters. I love to play online games and work puzzles, and cook and bake.

Cool. I'm finnnally gonna get my first microdermabrasion soon, on my back to clear up a lot of bacne scars. I'm nervous, but excited!
Isn't this pitiful? I hurt all over today also. I hate this...feels like when your getting the flu only you aren't. I guess I'm in a flare. I hope you feel better soon :)
Thanks for your words of support. I appreciate them so much!
I was born with Lupus, but was diagnosed when I was 30. And I'm still dealing with the day by day events of Lupus.
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 15 years ago. Thankfully, I had a Dr. that knew the symptoms and was able to diagnose me.
I was dignosed with DDD at age of 35 when I was suffering from a horrible pain in my arm to shoulder. After 3 years I found that I could have surgery. When I went in to have surgery, I was told that because it was my neck they'd have to do the surgery from the back and the chance of being paralyzed was 50/50, so I opted from having the surgery. When my hubby and I moved to Colorado, I still had the same issues, only there we're 2 Dr.'s doing surgery from the front and so I had it.
