I don't really have a choice this year because we have already started advertising and already have the location and dj and everything else. All we have left to do is sell a ton of tickets and hopefully we can accomplish that part. It is going to be hard, but I am hoping to sell at least 200. That would make it feel worth the heart ache. You know? It feels good to do something for charity. I don't know what scan you mean.

We won't do anything else with fertility treatments. We know that we can get pregnant on our own it is just a matter of when. It is hard for us, but will happen again. I need to take an emotional break from trying anyway. That has been my whole world since Lily died and I really need to move on the something else and just let it happen when it is supposed to I guess. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself.

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I have been diagnosed with PCOS after my parter and I started trying to concieve in April 2008. In December 2008 my GP gave me norethesterone (progesterone) to induce menstration and 50mg of clomid to make me ovulate. I am currently overweight and dont ovulate/menstrate. Help
Treatments
- Clomid Too Soon to Tell
- Have taken first month of 50mg clomid but the blood tests hae said I haven't ovulated. I had hot flushes and mood swings.
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- Came off contraceptive pill April 2008, didn't know I had PCOS until I stopped taking it, so think it helped mask my symptoms
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Given to induce menstration. It worked but also had mood swings and head aches
Close Infertility
Type: Ovarian IssuesWe have been trying to conceive since April 08 but I was diagnosed with PCOS in June after numerous blood test and eventually an internal scan my GP prescribed Clomid. I have just had my first cycle
Treatments
- Clomid Too Soon to Tell
- Not sure if I have oulated on 50mg as may have went for blood tests to early as progesterone levels are below 1. Had hot flushes and mood swings
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- still taking it with no problems
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- used to induce menstration got head aches and mood swings
Open Hypothyroidism
I have had an under-active thyriod for about 3-4 years
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- Seems to work well
Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
I have Polycystic ovary syndrome and an under-active thyroid. I find it very hard to loose weight and need to as I am trying to conceive.
Treatments
- Xenical Working / Worked
- I have been on Xenical since August 2008 and have lost about 16lbs on it. Side effects are grim if you have too much fat in a meal.
