Close Schizophrenia

I suffer from schizoaffective disorder, which means I have symptoms of both schizophrenia and depression. As this is a recent diagnosis, I need all the support I can get in learning to manage it.

Treatments

Abilify Working / Worked

The Abilify (10 mg) has completely destroyed my psychotic symptoms--however, I did have an annoying side effect of not being able to sit still first thing in the morning. My doctor prescribed benztropine to offset that side effect, so I feel pretty normal now.

Cogentin Working / Worked

(2 mg) I can now sit still and eat my full breakfast!

Music Working / Worked

I listen to K-Love Christian Radio, which plays positive, inspiring songs that keep me in a good head space.

Celexa Working / Worked

Before taking Citalopram 20 mg I was crying for hours a day. Now I am able to feel normal sadness but I dont get stuck in itI can move on with my day.

Ativan Working / Worked

This drug .5 mg has given me the confidence to be out in public every day rather than hiding out and isolating.
