When I found out the cancer had metastized to my lungs and lymph nodes, the 1st thing to come to mind was I wanted a hot fudge sunday. A big one. When it finally sunk in that it was terminal and that treatments may just stablize them, I was a bit resentful. But then I accepted it and live 1 day at a time. I have had surgury, auto transplants, IL-2 treatments, Sutent, Aclinical trial and finally now I am on Torisel. My last 4 CT's have shown the tumors are stable, Yea!! Haven't got smaller but they haven't got bigger double Yea! Don't give up BlessedB. Love ya, Ronnie1

Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
Recently diagnosis and surgery for tumor on my left kidney. Small (2 1/2) but aggressive and stage IV.
Treatments
- Nephrectomy Working / Worked
- Done with the Davinci machine and was a little more painful than I anticipated. But am healing quickly and moving around good. Will be returning to work after only 2 wks off.
