      Im a Deaf/Oral single mother, suffering from low self esteem and lack of confidence. With my daughter entering adulthood, I've found time for ME..to explore things that I enjoy and the time to focus on a relationship with the right person. "The Right Person" is just the part that I cant' seem to get right. I'm currently trying to leave a one year relationship that leaves me unhappy a great deal of the time, but my fear of being alone forever, propels me to believe that I may not be worth more.

      I am deaf/oral, currently learning ASL. Yikes! I am an employment counselor for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

      Hearing aids allow me to know that there is noise somewhere, giving me an opportunity to look and lip read
      Lip Reading Working / Worked
      I'm an excellent lip reader, who often leaves people believing that I could not be deaf
      Sign Language Working / Worked
      Currently learning.. slow progress.
