I have never heard of paying your dealer--- oops!--- doc just to write an Rx. However, if she believes you about your pain and will prescribe and others don't you might just want to suck it up as a cost of doing business. It's really a bit odd though. Hugs.

Congrats on the good night sleep! (I think I sent you part of a message before I finished it. Sorry! I am typing in a pretty dark room! Trying not to disturb my husband~) I made the mistake of taking a Lortab and it made me itch!! Hate it when that happens. Now can't sleep! Well, maybe when this wears off~~ So, I am up for now! I hope your appt. goes well on Mon. I will be praying for you! I have not started that process yet. Still trying to work. I have cut back to only 2 days a week. I told my husband today that I had read that it takes a while to get disability and maybe I should start now. Some days are o.k. and others I feel awful. Never know if it will be a work day that I feel so bad. Fortunately, my customers know what I am going through- for the most part- and are understanding. And my helper is a really good helper and will do pretty much anything that I ask her to do!! I hope you have a good day tomorrow!!! Or rather, today :-)

Close Accidents
I wsa in a car wreck aug 2007 and still am suffering from neck,shoulder pain along with right arm numbness. I have been to every specialist and had every test but nothing showed up. I am no seeing a pain doctor who has diagnosed me with nerve damage. At least now I do have a diagnosis instead of just muscle pain because it runs deeper than that. Anyway that is my story..now I am having to learn how to deal with this pain which is hard and also feeling as if no one understands it as well!
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Not Working
- The physical therapy made me worse! I went to it three separate times finally they suggested for me not to come back. All of my range of motion and pain started getting worse each time.
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- This sometimes takes the edge off but nothing really helps the pain
Close Chronic Pain
After being rearended in 2007 I have had to deal with the chronic pain. I have had all the tests but none showed up anything. I have finally found a great pain management doctor. The pain is something I am having to deal with. Its really hard especially when I have two boys and I can't attend most of the ballgames due to the pain. It seems as no one really understands how pain effects a person.

- Cymbalta Not Working
- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- Lyrica Not Working
- Naproxen Not Working
- Physical Therapy Not Working
Open Myofascial Pain Syndrome
I was in a car wreck aug 07 and since day one I have had severe neck pain with spasms that go down my right arm. I have had all the tests with nothing showing up but the pain is unbearable. I am now seeing a pain management doctor who seems to think I may have nerve damage but no one really know for sure since every tests has showed nothing. Anyway thats my story...
Treatments
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Helps the arm pain at night and lets me sleep which is a great relief!
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Helps some but not very much
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- helps some of the spasms
